St Vincents in Altrincham
Congratulations to John and Louise on their wedding day !
Another great day for a wedding, a little windy…but we didn’t lose the veil !
The guests all arrived in style for the wedding on a fantastic vintage coach. St Vincents in Altrincham is John’s ‘family’ church, as far as I am aware his Father and Mother were also married their ! ( a few years ago!)
Louise arrived at St Vincents in a bit of vintage style herself.
Outside the splendid St Vincents [or St Vincent de Paul as it’s officially called]
One very proud Father, outside St Vincents !
St Vincent’s is a light and airy church and thankfully the sun was shining through the magnificent stained glass windows. St Vincents is a great place for wedding photography, fortunately it’s one of those churches that still allow us to stand at the front and allow us to capture the wonderful emotion of the wedding day.
John, as most grooms do, was looking possibly for a little guidance before the wedding ;-)
Louise’s Dad seemed to be quite happy to be giving her away ! [Only kidding Louise !)
That all important kiss, congratulation to you both!
…and now the rings, for those that are wondering, yes sometimes the order of things is different !
Signing of the Register with the witnesses at St Vincents.
A little bit of confetti and then off we went back to Hilltop Country House !
We had to let Conor join in on the fun too !
The guests got back aboard their coach, but not before we managed to grab a quick shot of John and Louise in front the vintage coach.
[..and nobody got run over, which is always a bonus ;-) ]
After the ceremony we headed on back to Prestbury to the magnificent Hilltop Country House. One of the most idyllic settings for a wedding in Cheshire.
Hilltop Country House Hotel
Hilltop County House is quite a new venue on the Cheshire wedding venue circuit, and it’s certainly one that I hope to be going back to a lot more. The house and grounds are stunning, the owners are very warm and welcoming and treat the guests more as family than ‘well’ guests.
Unfortunately the vintage coach couldn’t make it up the ‘Hill’ at Hilltop Country House, so the guests had to alight further down the lane and had a little walk up the Hill !
The arrival of the Bride and Groom { and not forgetting Conor!}!
The wedding breakfast was served in the Marquee in the grounds, it was beautifully decorated, with a vintage theme going on.
Louise’s Mum and Dad…always a good sign !
The Best Mans Speech – guess the time ! [the result went to a stewards inquiry ]
We were even allowed to wander through the private area of the house to gain access to the balcony to get a fantastic overhead group shot, which you can see above.
