Smokies Hotel Wedding

Smokies Park | Smokies Hotel Wedding

Congratulations to Lucy and Steven { Sav ! }  the new Mr and Mrs Savage !

We were blessed with great weather, which is something we never take for granted in Manchester !

A sneak preview of some of the images from the day…

An early start and some great shots’ of Lucy and the Bridesmaids getting ready for the big day!

Princess number one making her grand appearance !

Lucy looked beautiful , I think you’ll agree !

The Holy Trinity Church

Sav met us at the church. The Holy Trinity on Oldham Road in Failsworth. A beautiful church with a fantastic spire ! And only 5 minutes away from Smokies Hotel !

I love Lucy’s expression here…

I can’t remember what was said here…but it had an effect !

We took all the group/formals at the church and then headed off to Smokies Hotel.

Proud Parents !

Lucy {and I’m sure Sav had some input;-)} had planned the day perfectly and had left plenty of time to allow us to go and and get some great photo’s of the couple.

{ If you are getting married at Smokies or having your wedding reception there…then In my opinion, Smokies Hotel is a fantastic location for your wedding but you do need to allow a little time to go elsewhere to get some great photo’s…unfortunately Smokies Hotel doesn’t have a great area for wedding photo’s, there’s a fountain area, but it’s in the middle of the carpark, and a little grassed area in front of the restaurant. These are fine for a few smaller group shots, or individual portraits, but the only place to do larger group shots is in the carpark! }

…so we headed back off towards Smokies Hotel, stopping off at an old Iron Works.

Too many great shots to post here ! If you want to see some more of the shots from the Iron Works then get in touch with Lucy for the web link of the main gallery.

Smokies Park | Smokies Hotel

So of we headed back to Smokies Hotel…in style ! I probably shouldn’t drive with a camera hanging out of the car …

Smokies Hotel

There’s a lot of car park at Smokies ! But fortunately there is a little grassed area in front of the restaurant that makes a great spot for smaller group shots!

Congratulations again to Lucy and Sav, I had a wonderful day and I’m pretty sure they did !

Keep your eye on this post for part 2 coming later….
